Reliability Engineer
Purpose:
- Enhance equipment and utility reliability to minimize operational risks and ensure engineering compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement through proactive maintenance strategies and asset optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement reliability programs, focusing on predictive maintenance and failure prevention.
- Analyze equipment performance data and KPIs (asset utilization, maintenance costs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA), reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA).
- Optimize preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and implement predictive maintenance technologies.
- Manage the engineering change control process and conduct internal/external audits.
- Train personnel on reliability principles and best practices.
- Utilize and maintain the CMMS (Maximo).
- Review maintenance and installation plans for new equipment, and provide reliability and maintainability specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
Or
- A trade qualification with 6+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent IT skills.
