As an Electrical Project technician, you will liaise with the engineering team working on Automation and Equipment Projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects as an electrical technician from scope development, design, build/install, and qualify through to handover to operations.
- Develop project scope, cost, and delivery time schedule for projects, working and collaborating closely with Technical engineering leads to ensure integration into ongoing Validations and/or Technical projects
- As an electrical project technician, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to establish scope in improvement projects
- Collaborate with multiple partners in achieving excellence in technology transfer programs. Serve as technical engineering representative for internal technical group discussions
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required for Electrical Project Technician
- Bachelor Degree or higher preferred; ideally in a Science, Engineering or another technical discipline
- Time served electrical qualification –
- Project management Qualification (PMP) desirable but not essential
Technical Competencies for Electrical Technician Role
- Excellent report, standards, policy writing skills required
- 3- 5 years of electrical background and equipment experience
- Automation experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and job-related computer applications required
- Lean Six Sigma Methodology experience desired
- Having a strong safety experience
- Have proven record of process improvement implementation
- Have a proven record of project management
